March 12 TORI AMOS TO RELEASE "ABNORMALLY ATTRACTED TO SIN" ON MAY 19!!!!!!!!!! Tori Amos will release her Universal Republic debut album, ABNORMALLY ATTRACTED TO SIN, on May 19, 2009. AOL Music's Spinner.com will premiere today, Tuesday, March 10 the album's cover art and tracklisting, as well as an interview where Tori discusses the record. Tori will offer a sneak-peek at some of the songs from ABNORMALLY ATTRACTED TO SIN at this year's South By Southwest Music Conference in Austin, TX when she will headline the Universal Republic Records Showcase. The showcase, one of the most anticipated events in the conference's two decade-plus history, is on Thursday, March 19, and will be held at the historic club La Zona Rosa. December 12 Butterfly effectIt is said that the flapping of a butterfly wing in pacific ocean may create a tornado over Amazon. So as a result of thundershower in Sydney, I finally returned home at 4 in the morning.
I was supposed to get on the plane from Launceston to Sydney at 8:45 pm but 5 minutes after I had checked in there was an anouncement saying that the plane was still on the ground in Sydney airport. We had to wait at least one and half hour for the aircraft to land on Lauceston. The boarding time is dealyed till 10:15 and we wouldn't be able to reach sydney because there is no landing in Syd airport after 11. So we were transported to Newcastle airport and there was a bus there took us to Central station. It was 4 am after I had paid 40 bucks and got out of a taxi.
What was so funny during the long bus journey was that after I called my friend for the train timetable, a guy seated in front told me not to worry and asked me in Chinese if I come from China. I was so shocked. We had a little talk. He is a German and he has been in Chengdu for 2 years and he likes hot pot a lot:). Movie:I watched DVD the School of Rock at the lounge of room YHA.To be honest, it's not funny at all. For my "great efforts "within 1 year, I have destroyed 2 desk lamps, a mouse, a USB disk, a headphone and an electronic dictionary.
My recent achievement was I dropped my mobile phone into the water the day before yesterday. I have baked it under sunlight for 2 days, but it doesn't work. I did the same way with my laptop last year when I had a glass of water poured down onto the keyboard. It turned out to be okay after the sun let dry. But this time, miracle doesn't appear : (|
