December 12 Butterfly effectIt is said that the flapping of a butterfly wing in pacific ocean may create a tornado over Amazon. So as a result of thundershower in Sydney, I finally returned home at 4 in the morning.
I was supposed to get on the plane from Launceston to Sydney at 8:45 pm but 5 minutes after I had checked in there was an anouncement saying that the plane was still on the ground in Sydney airport. We had to wait at least one and half hour for the aircraft to land on Lauceston. The boarding time is dealyed till 10:15 and we wouldn't be able to reach sydney because there is no landing in Syd airport after 11. So we were transported to Newcastle airport and there was a bus there took us to Central station. It was 4 am after I had paid 40 bucks and got out of a taxi.
What was so funny during the long bus journey was that after I called my friend for the train timetable, a guy seated in front told me not to worry and asked me in Chinese if I come from China. I was so shocked. We had a little talk. He is a German and he has been in Chengdu for 2 years and he likes hot pot a lot:). He spoke quite fluent Chinese though and he is cute:) |
